Install the Windows App
Download and run the free installer. No account registration is required.

Accept the Terms
Review and accept the terms, including the bandwidth-sharing disclosure. Community sharing then starts automatically.

Select a Location and Connect
Choose a country and city. Your browser traffic is then routed through the selected location.
Free Through Community Sharing
Access is provided at no cost while your device shares bandwidth with the Community. If sharing is turned off, free access is paused until sharing resumes.
Datacentre + Residential
Traffic is routed through SparkProxy datacentre capacity or through home, ISP and mobile connections shared by Community members, depending on availability for the selected location.
Country and City Selection
Choose from the locations currently online. The relay assigns an available exit automatically.
Encrypted Data Transfer
Browser traffic is carried over a single authenticated TLS connection between your device and the SparkProxy relay.
No Account Required
No email address, password or payment card is needed. The app generates a unique device token on first launch.
Live Connection Details
The dashboard displays your current public IP address, city, country, ISP and a location map, so changes are visible as soon as you connect.

Free VPN FAQ
Is the SparkProxy Free VPN free of charge?
Yes. No payment card, trial period or paid upgrade is required. Community access is reciprocal: the network is available to you while bandwidth sharing is active on your device.
What does sharing my connection mean?
While sharing is active, other Community members can open web connections through your internet connection, to public websites on ports 80 and 443 only. Your local network, router and devices cannot be reached, and no port is opened on your router. You can stop sharing from the app menu at any time. Sharing resumes the next time the app opens, and free access is paused while it is off.
Is it a full VPN?
Not in the strict sense. The app configures a system HTTP/HTTPS and SOCKS5 proxy, so your browser and any application that follows Windows proxy settings is routed and encrypted to the SparkProxy relay. It does not capture all device traffic, and UDP traffic such as games and voice calls is not routed.
Can the exit connection see my activity?
HTTPS traffic remains encrypted end to end, so the exit can see only the domain you connect to. Plain HTTP pages can be read in transit, as on any public network, so we recommend using HTTPS websites.
Who can join the Community?
Anyone on a home, ISP or mobile connection. Datacentre and hosting networks are not eligible for Community membership; SparkProxy operates its own datacentre capacity alongside the Community.
What does hybrid mean?
The network combines SparkProxy-managed datacentre capacity with residential connections shared by Community members. You choose the country and city, and the relay assigns an available exit from either source.
Which devices are supported?
Windows is supported today. Versions for macOS, Linux, Android and iOS are in development.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no login. Each installation receives its own unique device token, which our servers store only as a one-way hash.
